BMW S1000RR 2017-2018

Price range: £ 137.60 through £ 328.52

The bmw s1000rr 2017-2018 is one of the most exhilarating superbikes ever to roll out of Munich, and if you’re serious about unlocking its full potential, a high-quality performance exhaust is one of the best upgrades you can make. At Max Torque Cans, we’ve developed a purpose-built exhaust solution specifically designed for this machine — delivering improved flow, a meaner sound, and a finish that looks as good as it performs.

Whether you’re pushing hard on track days or carving up country roads on a Sunday morning, the right exhaust can transform the riding experience on your BMW S1000RR. Our kit has been carefully engineered to bolt straight onto your standard OEM downpipes, meaning no cutting, no fabrication headaches, and no wasted weekends in the garage.

What’s Included in the BMW S1000RR 2017-2018 Exhaust Kit

Every kit we supply for the bmw s1000rr 2017-2018 comes complete with everything you need for a clean, secure installation. There are no surprise additional purchases and no hunting around for missing hardware. Here’s exactly what arrives in the box:

  • 1 x Stainless 304 CNC Mandrel Bent 2-1 Link Pipe — precision-formed for optimal exhaust gas flow and a perfect fit to the S1000RR’s existing downpipes
  • 1 x Stainless Exhaust Strap — corrosion-resistant and built to handle the heat and vibration of hard riding
  • 1 x Exhaust Strap Rubber — providing a secure, rattle-free mount that protects both the strap and the can from unnecessary wear

The inclusion of the stainless exhaust strap and rubber means your silencer is held firmly in place whether you’re crawling through town or flat out on a straight. It’s a complete, considered package — which is exactly what you’d expect from a brand dedicated to motorcycle exhausts.

Why Choose This Performance Exhaust for Your BMW S1000RR 2017-2018

The bmw s1000rr 2017-2018 platform is already a formidable piece of engineering, but the standard exhaust setup is a compromise — designed to meet noise regulations and emissions targets rather than to extract every last breath of performance. Swap it for a Max Torque Cans setup, and you’ll immediately notice the difference.

Our Stainless 304 CNC Mandrel Bent 2-1 link pipe is the heart of the kit. Unlike crush-bent alternatives, mandrel bending maintains a consistent internal diameter throughout every curve of the pipe. The result is smoother, faster-moving exhaust gases, less back pressure, and a more responsive throttle across the rev range. On a bike as rev-hungry as the S1000RR, that matters enormously.

Stainless 304 is our material of choice for good reason. It offers outstanding resistance to heat and corrosion — important on a bike that sees all conditions a British riding season can throw at it — while remaining lighter than mild steel alternatives. The finish looks exceptional too, with that clean, polished look that complements the aggressive lines of the S1000RR.

The 2-1 configuration collects exhaust gases from both cylinders into a single outlet, promoting scavenging and improving mid-range torque. For riders who want that immediate, punchy response when they crack open the throttle, the 2-1 design is a brilliant choice.

Fitment Details for the BMW S1000RR 2017-2018

Fitment couldn’t be more straightforward. This exhaust is made to fit straight to the standard OEM downpipes of the bmw s1000rr 2017-2018 — no modifications to the existing pipework are required. If you’re comfortable with basic mechanical tasks, this is a realistic home-garage job. If you prefer to have a professional fit it, any decent motorcycle workshop will have it done in short order.

It’s always worth checking your specific bike’s model year before ordering, and if you have any questions about compatibility or fitment, our team is on hand to help. We’ve fitted exhausts to hundreds of BMW superbikes and know these platforms inside out.

Sound and Performance: What to Expect from Your BMW S1000RR 2017-2018 Upgrade

One of the first questions riders ask is: what does it sound like? On the bmw s1000rr 2017-2018, the answer is deeply satisfying. The inline-four character of the S1000RR engine responds brilliantly to an improved exhaust setup — expect a sharper, more defined note at low revs that builds into a genuinely spine-tingling howl as you approach the redline. It sounds purposeful without being antisocial at town speeds.

In terms of performance, results vary depending on whether you also remap the ECU, but riders consistently report improved throttle response and a livelier mid-range. Pair this exhaust with a remap from a reputable tuner and you’ll be getting every last ounce of performance from your S1000RR’s 999cc motor.
