At Max Torque Cans, we’ve developed a precision-engineered performance exhaust that honours everything that makes this bike special — delivering improved exhaust flow, a deeper, more authoritative tone, and a quality fitment that will last the life of your ride. Whether you’re touring the open roads of the British countryside or carving through city traffic, our exhaust for the moto guzzi v 11 sport naked 1999 – 2005 is designed to elevate your riding experience from the very first ride.

We understand that Moto Guzzi owners are passionate, knowledgeable riders who won’t settle for second best. That’s why every component in this kit has been carefully selected and manufactured to the highest standards. From the grade of stainless steel to the precision of each bend, this is a performance exhaust built with pride — and built to perform.

What’s Included in the Moto Guzzi V 11 Sport Naked 1999 – 2005 Exhaust Kit

This complete exhaust kit for the moto guzzi v 11 sport naked 1999 – 2005 comes with everything you need for a clean, professional-looking installation straight out of the box. You won’t need to source additional parts or worry about compatibility — we’ve done all of that for you. Here’s exactly what’s included in the kit:

  • 2 x Stainless 304 CNC Mandrel Bent Link Pipes — precision-formed for a perfect fit and optimised exhaust flow
  • 2 x Stainless Exhaust Straps — durable and corrosion-resistant for long-term reliability
  • 2 x Exhaust Strap Rubbers — vibration-dampening rubbers that protect the can and reduce noise transfer
  • 4 x Stainless Exhaust Clamps — heavy-duty clamps for a secure, leak-free connection

The centrepiece of this kit is the pair of Stainless 304 CNC Mandrel Bent Link Pipes. Unlike cheaper alternatives that use crush bending — which restricts gas flow and reduces performance — mandrel bending maintains a consistent internal diameter throughout every curve. This means exhaust gases exit more freely and efficiently, helping your moto guzzi v 11 sport naked 1999 – 2005 breathe better and perform at its best.

Material Quality and Durability on the Moto Guzzi V 11 Sport Naked 1999 – 2005

All metalwork in this kit is manufactured from Grade 304 Stainless Steel — the gold standard for motorcycle exhausts. This grade of stainless offers exceptional resistance to heat, corrosion, and the kind of road grime and salt spray that British winters tend to throw at your motorcycle. You can expect this performance exhaust to remain looking great and functioning perfectly for years to come, even with year-round riding.

The exhaust straps and clamps are equally well-specified. Stainless steel straps eliminate the rust and fatigue that plague cheaper mild-steel alternatives, while the rubber insulators absorb engine vibration and protect the silencer mounting points. This level of attention to detail is what sets a Max Torque Cans kit apart from budget alternatives.

Fitment and Installation Guide for the Moto Guzzi V 11 Sport Naked 1999 – 2005

One of the most important things to know about this exhaust is that it has been designed to fit directly onto the standard OEM downpipes of the moto guzzi v 11 sport naked 1999 – 2005. This means there’s no cutting, welding, or fabrication required — the link pipes are shaped to match the factory downpipe exits exactly, giving you a bolt-on fitment that feels factory-quality.

Installation is a satisfying job that most home mechanics can complete in an afternoon with basic hand tools. Here are a few tips to make the process smooth and stress-free:

  • Allow the engine to cool completely before starting work — stainless steel holds heat for a long time and you don’t want to risk burns.
  • Apply copper anti-seize paste to all threaded connections and pipe joints before assembly. This makes future removal much easier and prevents corrosion locking components together.
  • Hand-tighten all clamps first, then check the alignment of both pipes before fully torquing everything down. This helps ensure a symmetrical, clean finish.
  • Check for exhaust leaks after the first ride — a brief warm-up ride followed by a visual check will confirm all joints are sealed correctly.
  • Re-check clamp tightness after the first 50 miles, as heat cycling can cause slight settling in the joints during the initial break-in period.

If you’re pairing these link pipes with aftermarket silencers or cans, ensure the outlet diameter of your chosen cans matches the inlet of the link pipes. If you’re unsure, get in touch with the Max Torque Cans team — we’re always happy to advise on compatibility for the moto guzzi v 11 sport naked 1999 – 2005.

To Make sure that you are shopping for the correct Model exhaust here is some information about this model.

The major version, which went into production first in 2000 and came out in 2006, was produced in a single series but in several versions, normal, V-Raptor (aesthetically identical to the Xtra Raptor) and “Xtra Raptor” (the equipped version of carbon parts and adjustable suspension.

In 2001 the Xtra Raptor was introduced . in 2004, a prototype called X3 Raptor was presented which never went into production. All raptors in 1000 were equipped with the engine Japanese of Suzuki (TL1000) used in Superbike for a short time. The Xtra Raptor has a plate that shows the numbering of the bike, which was produced in a limited series. The numbering had to go from 1/999 to 999/999. The Xtra Raptor also compared to the normal version had an adjustable Marzocchi fork and an adjustable Sachs mono-shock.

All the engines had liquid cooling and the braking system consisted of two disc brakes at the front (only the 125 cm³ version had a single disc at the front) and a single disc at the rear. In common with all models, regardless of the displacement, the presence of a fork with inverted stanchions (40 mm for the “small” version, 43 mm for the others) and a rear shock absorber.

Maneuverability and power are the natural qualities of this bike which integrates pure style and performance especially in the “V-Raptor” version which had 77.5 kW with only 194 kg of weight. Of the V-1000 version, unofficial sources say that around 300 V-Raptor 1000s were produced, while about 600 and not 1000s of the Xtra were produced as was thought and as was declared to the press when the motorcycle was presented.
