Whether you’re chasing a more aggressive sound, a cleaner look, or simply want to shed some weight from your machine, our exhaust for the suzuki gsx1300r hayabusa 1999-2007 (gen 1 ) is engineered to deliver on every front.

The Gen 1 Hayabusa earned its place in motorcycling history as the world’s fastest production motorcycle when it launched in 1999, and riders who own one understand the pride that comes with it. That’s exactly why we’ve taken the time to produce a can that respects the bike’s heritage whilst giving it a modern, purposeful edge. This isn’t an off-the-shelf compromise — it’s a UK-made performance exhaust built to fit your suzuki gsx1300r hayabusa 1999-2007 (gen 1 ) properly, securely, and without fuss.

Product Features for the Suzuki GSX1300R Hayabusa 1999-2007 (Gen 1 )

Our exhaust for the suzuki gsx1300r hayabusa 1999-2007 (gen 1 ) is manufactured here in the UK to a consistently high standard, using quality materials that stand up to the demands of everyday riding as well as spirited track days. Here’s what you get with every order:

  • 3 Bolt-On Fitting: The can is designed specifically around the suzuki gsx1300r hayabusa 1999-2007 (gen 1 ) OEM downpipe configuration, making for a clean, solid fitment with no adaptor plates or bodge jobs required.
  • 2 x Stainless Exhaust Straps: Precision-formed stainless steel straps provide a sturdy and rattle-free mount, giving the can proper support under the forces of hard acceleration.
  • 2 x Exhaust Strap Rubbers: These rubbers isolate vibration between the bracket and the can, protecting the finish and reducing unwanted noise resonance.
  • Choice of Shape: We strongly recommend the Round or Tri-Oval silencer shapes for the suzuki gsx1300r hayabusa 1999-2007 (gen 1 ). Both shapes lend themselves exceptionally well to the 3-bolt fixing geometry, sitting flush and purposeful against the Hayabusa’s muscular bodywork.
  • Straight Fit to OEM Downpipes: No modifications to your stock downpipes are needed. Our can fits straight onto the standard factory pipes, making the whole installation refreshingly straightforward.
  • UK-Made Quality: Every can leaves our workshop having been checked for quality and consistency. You’re buying a product built with genuine care for motorcycling, not a mass-produced import.

Fitment Guide for the Suzuki GSX1300R Hayabusa 1999-2007 (Gen 1 )

Getting the right exhaust on a bike like the suzuki gsx1300r hayabusa 1999-2007 (gen 1 ) matters. The Gen 1 Hayabusa ran from 1999 through to 2007, covering a substantial production run with consistent downpipe architecture across those years. Our can is compatible with all suzuki gsx1300r hayabusa 1999-2007 (gen 1 ) models within this range, so regardless of whether your bike is an early 1999 example or a late 2007 model, you can order with confidence.

The fitment uses a 3-bolt flange connection, which is the standard arrangement on the Gen 1 Hayabusa’s collector. If you are unsure whether your bike falls within the Gen 1 specification, simply check your model year — if it falls between 1999 and 2007, you’re in the right place. The Gen 2 Hayabusa (2008 onwards) uses different downpipe geometry and would require a different product.

We always recommend fitting this performance can with a fresh exhaust gasket at the flange joint. Whilst not supplied as standard, a new gasket ensures a gas-tight seal and prevents any exhaust gas from escaping before it reaches the silencer. These are widely available and inexpensive from any good motorcycle parts supplier.

Installation Notes for Your Suzuki GSX1300R Hayabusa 1999-2007 (Gen 1 )

Installing your new can on the suzuki gsx1300r hayabusa 1999-2007 (gen 1 ) is a job that most mechanically minded riders can tackle at home with basic tools. That said, here are a few practical tips to make the process as smooth as possible:

  • Allow the engine to cool completely before removing your old silencer. The OEM exhaust retains heat for a considerable time, and burns are easily avoided with a bit of patience.
  • Use penetrating oil on the flange bolts well in advance if your current can has been in place for a number of years. Corroded bolts on the suzuki gsx1300r hayabusa 1999-2007 (gen 1 ) are a common issue due to the heat cycling they endure.
  • Hand-tighten first when fitting the new can, ensuring the flange sits perfectly square before nipping up the three bolts evenly.
  • Position the exhaust straps before fully tightening anything. The strap rubbers should sit centrally on the bracket to provide even support and prevent premature wear.
  • Run the engine briefly after fitting and check around the flange joint for any signs of blowing. A slight initial smell from any residual oils burning off is completely normal and will clear within the first few minutes of running.
