What’s Included in the Yamaha YZF-R125 Full Stainless System 2008 – 2013
When you order the yamaha yzf-r125 full stainless system 2008 – 2013, you receive everything you need to complete a clean, professional fitment straight out of the box. There’s no need to source additional components or compromise with generic parts — it’s all here, ready to go.
- 2 x Sections of Stainless 304 CNC Mandrel Bent Header & Link Pipe — precision formed for optimal gas flow and a perfect OEM-matching fit
- 1 x Stainless Exhaust Strap — heavy-duty and built for long-term reliability
- 1 x Exhaust Strap Rubber — cushions the mounting point and reduces vibration transfer to the frame
Every single component is made to the same exacting standard. The stainless strap and rubber are often overlooked by budget alternatives, but we include them as standard because we know how important a secure, rattle-free fit is to your riding experience.
Why Choose the Yamaha YZF-R125 Full Stainless System 2008 – 2013 Over Budget Alternatives
There’s no shortage of cheap exhausts on the market, but the yamaha yzf-r125 full stainless system 2008 – 2013 is in a different league entirely. Here’s why riders across the UK keep coming back to Max Torque Cans:
- Stainless 304 Grade Steel — highly resistant to corrosion, heat, and the relentless British weather. This isn’t mild steel with a coating that flakes off after one winter. This is proper stainless that will keep looking the part year after year.
- CNC Mandrel Bending — unlike conventional pipe bending which can collapse or deform the tube internally, CNC mandrel bending maintains a consistent bore throughout. The result is smoother gas flow, better scavenging, and improved throttle response.
- OEM Flange Fitment — this performance exhaust is designed to bolt directly onto the standard OEM exhaust flange on the Yamaha YZF-R125. No cutting, no fabrication, no headaches.
- Quality You Can See and Hear — from the polished finish on the headers to the deep, confident note that replaces the flat, restrictive tone of the stock silencer, you’ll know immediately that this is a step up.
- Complete Kit — no half-measures. Every part you need for the job is included.
When you factor in the build quality, the materials, and the complete nature of the kit, the value proposition of the yamaha yzf-r125 full stainless system 2008 – 2013 is genuinely hard to beat. This is a product built by people who ride, for people who ride.
Fitment Details for the Yamaha YZF-R125 Full Stainless System 2008 – 2013
This exhaust is specifically designed and manufactured to fit the Yamaha YZF-R125 produced between 2008 and 2013. Before ordering, please confirm your bike falls within this model year range. The R125 received updates in subsequent years, and exhaust fitment can vary between generations, so it’s important to match the product to your specific machine.
The yamaha yzf-r125 full stainless system 2008 – 2013 bolts straight to the standard OEM exhaust flange, which means the fitment process is clean and straightforward. You won’t need a welder, an angle grinder, or specialist fabrication tools. A good set of spanners, some copper grease, and a mechanical willingness to get stuck in is all it takes for most riders to complete the installation at home.
We always recommend fitting new exhaust gaskets when installing any new performance exhaust. Reusing old, compressed gaskets is one of the most common causes of exhaust blowing and popping after a new fitment. A fresh set of gaskets ensures a tight, leak-free seal and will save you a frustrating re-do down the line.
Installation Tips to Get the Best from Your Yamaha YZF-R125 Full Stainless System 2008 – 2013
Getting the most out of your new exhaust starts with a proper installation. Here are some practical tips from the team at Max Torque Cans:
- Apply copper grease to all threaded fixings — this prevents thread seizure caused by heat cycling, making future removal far easier.
- Loosely assemble all components first — before tightening anything fully, assemble the entire exhaust loosely to ensure everything lines up correctly. Then tighten progressively from the header flange down.
- Allow the exhaust to heat-cycle before riding hard — after installation, allow the bike to warm up and cool down a couple of times before pushing it. This allows the metal to expand and contract naturally and settles all the joints.
- Check all fixings after the first ride — vibration can work fasteners slightly loose after initial use. A quick once-over after your first run will ensure everything remains tight and secure.
- Avoid cleaning products on a hot exhaust — allow the stainless to cool completely before applying any polish or cleaning agent.
Follow these straightforward steps and your yamaha yzf-r125 full stainless system 2008 – 2013 will serve you brilliantly for years to come.

To Make sure that you are shopping for the correct Model exhaust here is some information about this model.
The Yamaha YZF-R125 is a sport motorcycle designed by Yamaha and manufactured by MBK Industrie since 2008. It currently has 3 generations.
First generation: (2008 – 2013)
In 2008, the bike initially came available as a four-stroke replacement for the TZR125. Entering the thin market of small displacement 4-stroke sportbikes, it quickly gained traction and became a popular choice for young riders.
Second generation: (2014 -2018)
In 2014, Yamaha unveiled a facelifted version of the bike with a slightly tweaked fairing set, an upside-down front fork, and a full LCD dashboard.
It launched without ABS, but it became an option for 2015 and comes as standard equipment on all bikes since 2017. This may cause minor differences in weight and electrical or other specifications.
In 2016, the LCD instrument received a minor revision, in which the segment arrangement for various gauges has been slightly modified, including a horizontal tacho instead of a vertical one.
Third generation: (2019 – on)
The 2019 revision brings some major changes: New rear swingarm, tweaked frame, rebuilt cowling, a new engine with Variable Valve Actuation (VVA), and many other minor modifications add up to a brand new construction. With this release, Yamaha brings it’s R-series superbikes aesthetically more or less in line with each other.
The top speed on the factory version of the Yamaha YZF-R125 is 85 mph (137kmh)
