If you’re looking to transform the look, sound, and performance of your twin-cylinder parallel twin, our royal enfield gt650 continental reverse cone stainless silencers are exactly what your bike has been waiting for. Crafted from high-quality stainless steel and finished to an exceptional standard, these reverse cone cans are a serious upgrade over the heavy, restrictive OEM silencers that come as standard on the GT650 Continental. Whether you’re a weekend blaster or a daily commuter who demands a little more character from your ride, this is one of the most impactful upgrades you can make.
The Royal Enfield GT650 Continental is a genuinely brilliant motorcycle — beautifully styled, torquey, and immensely characterful. But like so many modern bikes, the factory exhausts are a compromise. They’re heavy, they’re strangled by built-in catalytic converters, and frankly they don’t do justice to that parallel twin engine. Our stainless reverse cone silencers fix all of that in one straightforward swap.
What’s Included With Our Royal Enfield GT650 Continental Reverse Cone Stainless Silencers?
We believe in making fitment as simple and stress-free as possible, which is why our royal enfield gt650 continental reverse cone stainless silencers come supplied as a complete kit — everything you need to bolt straight on without any additional trips to a parts supplier. Here’s exactly what you get in the box:
- 2 x Reverse Cone Stainless Silencers — the headline act, beautifully finished and built to last
- 2 x Link Pipes with Heat Shields — correctly shaped and sized for the GT650 Continental’s layout
- 2 x Connecting Clamps — solid, well-made clamps for a secure and rattle-free fit
- 2 x Stainless Exhaust Mounting Brackets — purpose-made brackets to replace the OEM hardware cleanly
Every single component is included to allow you to fit directly onto the standard OEM downpipes. There’s no fabrication required, no sourcing of additional hardware, and no head-scratching at the garage — just a clean, satisfying installation that you can crack on with at home.
Why Upgrade? The Weight and Performance Case for Royal Enfield GT650 Continental Reverse Cone Stainless Silencers
Let’s talk about the elephant in the room — or rather, the 11.5 kilograms of cast iron and catalytic converter hanging off your frame. The standard OEM silencers fitted to the GT650 Continental are genuinely heavy. They combine for a total of 11.5 kilos, and they’re packed with restrictive catalytic converters that choke the engine’s ability to breathe freely.
Our royal enfield gt650 continental reverse cone stainless silencers weigh just 4 kilos for the pair. That’s a weight saving of 6.5 kilograms — removed from one of the worst possible places on a motorcycle, low and to the rear. The result is a bike that feels noticeably more agile, with improved handling balance and a more responsive feel through the bars. You’ll notice the difference the moment you throw a leg over it.
Beyond weight, removing the restrictive cats and replacing them with our free-flowing stainless cans allows the GT650’s parallel twin to breathe properly. The result is a more responsive throttle, improved mid-range pull, and that glorious exhaust note that this engine is genuinely capable of producing — but which the standard silencers simply smother.
Sound and Style — The Royal Enfield GT650 Continental Reverse Cone Stainless Silencers in Action
The reverse cone design is a classic for a reason. It looks absolutely the part on the GT650 Continental’s café racer styling — purposeful, aggressive, and period-correct in all the right ways. The flared outlet of the reverse cone delivers a deep, growling exhaust note under acceleration that genuinely suits the character of the bike. It’s not antisocially loud, but it will absolutely be heard — and more importantly, it sounds right.
Our royal enfield gt650 continental reverse cone stainless silencers are manufactured in stainless steel throughout, which means they’ll resist corrosion and continue to look smart through the seasons. No bluing, no rusting, and no embarrassing surface decay after a couple of winters. These are cans built to last the lifetime of the bike.

Fitment and Installation Notes
Installation of the royal enfield gt650 continental reverse cone stainless silencers is designed to be straightforward for any competent home mechanic. The kit connects directly to the standard OEM downpipes, so no cutting, welding, or custom fabrication is required. The supplied link pipes, clamps, and mounting brackets are all purpose-made for the GT650 Continental, ensuring a precise fit that looks factory-quality once completed.
We’d recommend the following when fitting:
- Allow the engine to cool fully before starting work — safety first, always
- Use penetrating oil on any stubborn OEM clamp bolts before attempting removal, particularly on older bikes
- Check all connections are fully seated before tightening the clamps to avoid any leaks at the joints
- Torque the mounting bracket bolts correctly and recheck after the first 50 miles once everything has bedded in
- A brief heat-up run will help the clamps settle into position and any minor surface oils to burn off cleanly
If you have any questions about fitment or compatibility, don’t hesitate to get in touch with the Max Torque Cans team — we’re riders ourselves and always happy to help you get the right setup for your bike.

Our commitment to adhering to regulations is evident in our product design and labelling, and hence with new updates from ACEM, DVSA and DfT, we are ensuring our exhaust systems are compliant with new and upcoming legislation and regulations. Specifically, two changes detailed below:
Road Legal Exhausts: Our road legal exhausts will have the BSAU stamped markings and be crafted with non-removable baffles, aligning seamlessly with the standards set by ACEM (European Association of Motorcycle Manufacturers). These baffles are an integral part of our design to ensure that your motorcycle exhaust complies with road regulations, providing you with a legal and enjoyable riding experience.
Race Exhausts and Silencers: For those seeking an exhilarating experience on the track, our race exhausts are engineered to deliver optimal performance. Clearly marked with type approval markings “Not for Road Use” etched into the side, these exhausts are specifically designed for racing applications. This distinction is in line with DVSA policy, ensuring that our race exhausts are suitable for track use, meeting the highest performance standards without compromising on safety.
