If you’re searching for a high-quality performance exhaust for the moto guzzi griso 2006, you’ve come to the right place. At Max Torque Cans, we specialise in precision-engineered exhausts built to complement the character and power of Italian motorcycles — and this kit is no exception. Designed specifically for the Griso, this exhaust delivers a clean, purposeful upgrade that retains OEM compatibility while giving your bike a far more aggressive, refined note on the road.

What’s Included in This Moto Guzzi Griso 2006 Exhaust Kit

This kit has been put together with everything you need to complete a straightforward, no-fuss fitment. Every component is chosen for durability, corrosion resistance, and a professional finish. Here’s exactly what you’ll receive when your order arrives:

  • 1 x Stainless 304 CNC Mandrel Bent Link Pipe — precision-formed for a smooth, unrestricted gas flow and a perfect fit on the moto guzzi griso 2006
  • 1 x Stainless Exhaust Strap — a robust, rust-resistant mounting strap engineered to hold firm under sustained heat and vibration
  • 1 x Exhaust Strap Rubber — a protective rubber buffer that cushions the silencer mount, reducing vibration transfer to the frame and extending component life

The link pipe is the star of this package. Manufactured from grade 304 stainless steel using CNC mandrel bending, it maintains a consistent internal diameter throughout every curve. This means your exhaust gases flow freely without the turbulence caused by cheaper crush-bent alternatives, helping to preserve or improve mid-range torque — exactly what the moto guzzi griso 2006 was built to deliver.

Fitment Details for the Moto Guzzi Griso 2006

This exhaust has been designed specifically to bolt directly onto the standard OEM downpipes of the moto guzzi griso 2006. There is no cutting, no fabrication, and no specialist workshop equipment required. If you’re comfortable with basic mechanical work and have a set of spanners to hand, this is a job that can be done at home in a couple of hours.

The link pipe is dimensioned to match the OEM collector outlets precisely, which means you won’t be wrestling with ill-fitting joints or reaching for exhaust paste to seal poor gaps. The stainless exhaust strap and rubber buffer work together to secure your chosen silencer can firmly in position, keeping everything tight and rattle-free even on longer rides or rougher roads.

It’s always worth double-checking your specific build date and any regional specification differences before ordering, but this kit is catalogued to suit the moto guzzi griso 2006 as standard. If you have any doubts, get in touch with our team — we’re happy to confirm compatibility before you commit.

Installation Notes for Your Moto Guzzi Griso 2006 Performance Exhaust

Installation is straightforward, but a few tips will help you get the best results from your new exhaust. Always allow the engine and existing exhaust components to cool completely before you begin work — this isn’t just common sense, it makes the job significantly easier as seized or over-torqued fixings tend to loosen far more readily on a cold engine.

  • Remove the existing link pipe by loosening the clamps at the collector and silencer mount points
  • Clean the OEM downpipe outlets with a wire brush to remove any carbon build-up or surface corrosion before fitting the new link pipe
  • Offer up the new stainless link pipe, ensuring it seats squarely at both ends before tightening any fixings
  • Fit the exhaust strap with the rubber buffer in place — do not over-tighten, as the rubber needs a small amount of flex to do its job effectively
  • Start the engine and allow it to reach full operating temperature, then re-check all fasteners once the bike has cooled again

It’s also worth noting that new stainless steel components will discolour slightly during the first few heat cycles — this is completely normal and in no way affects performance or longevity. Grade 304 stainless is renowned for its resistance to the thermal cycling and road salt exposure that UK riding conditions inevitably bring, so your new exhaust should look and perform well for years to come.

Why Choose This Can for Your Moto Guzzi Griso 2006

The moto guzzi griso 2006 is a machine with real personality — a naked muscle bike with a transverse V-twin that sounds utterly distinctive. The right performance exhaust amplifies that character without undermining reliability or everyday usability. This kit gives you a solid foundation, with a quality link pipe that supports a wide range of aftermarket silencer cans while maintaining the integrity of your OEM downpipe setup.

Whether you’re upgrading a tired stock setup, replacing a damaged link pipe, or building a more aggressive sound profile for weekend riding, this exhaust kit is a sensible, cost-effective choice. Every component is made to a standard we’d be happy to fit to our own bikes — and that’s the benchmark we apply across everything we sell at Max Torque Cans.

If you ride other models in the Guzzi range, you might also be interested in our options for the Moto Guzzi Breva 1100cc 2005 – 2011, which shares a similarly characterful V-twin layout and benefits from the same quality of stainless pipework.
