Crafted from premium-grade stainless steel and developed with the serious motorcyclist in mind, our exhaust system for the yamaha xjr1300 2007-2014 is built to withstand the rigours of real-world British riding conditions. Every component has been carefully selected for its durability, performance credentials, and straightforward installation process. What’s Included with Your Yamaha XJR1300 2007-2014 Exhaust System
We believe in providing everything you need straight out of the box. When you order this performance exhaust for the yamaha xjr1300 2007-2014, your comprehensive kit will include the following precision-engineered components:
- 1 x Stainless 304 CNC Mandrel Bent Link Pipe — precision-formed for a perfect fit with zero restriction to exhaust gas flow
- 1 x Stainless Steel Exhaust Strap — robust, corrosion-resistant, and engineered to hold your silencer securely in position
- 1 x Exhaust Strap Rubber — absorbs vibration and protects the finish of your silencer mounting point
Every component is manufactured to exacting standards. The Stainless 304 specification means you’re receiving a link pipe capable of handling extreme heat cycles day after day, resisting corrosion even through the harshest British winters with road salt and constant moisture. The CNC mandrel bending process ensures the internal bore of the pipe maintains consistent diameter throughout every curve, which is critical for preserving strong exhaust scavenging and maintaining the low-to-mid-range torque delivery that makes the XJR1300 such a satisfying motorcycle to ride.
According to Motorcycle News, proper mandrel bending is essential for achieving optimal exhaust flow and performance gains.
Fitment Guide for the Yamaha XJR1300 2007-2014
This performance exhaust has been specifically developed to fit directly onto the standard OEM downpipes of the yamaha xjr1300 2007-2014 model range. No cutting, no welding, and absolutely no specialist fabrication work required. The link pipe is engineered to mate cleanly with the factory headers, making this an accessible upgrade for any competent home mechanic as well as a quick, straightforward installation for any professional motorcycle workshop.
The fitment process is intentionally simple and user-friendly. Simply remove your existing silencer and link pipe assembly, slide the new Max Torque Cans link pipe into position on the OEM downpipes, secure it using the provided stainless exhaust strap and rubber mount, then attach your chosen silencer can. The entire installation can typically be completed in under an hour using basic hand tools, making it one of the most rewarding and cost-effective upgrades you can carry out on your motorcycle.
Because we design our exhausts to work seamlessly with the standard downpipes, there’s no need to worry about compatibility issues or awkward workarounds. The link pipe follows the original routing closely, ensuring ground clearance and heat management remain consistent with the factory configuration, whilst delivering a noticeably deeper, more aggressive exhaust note that truly complements the character of this magnificent machine.
Installation Tips for Your Yamaha XJR1300 2007-2014 Performance Exhaust
Before you begin fitting your new exhaust system to the yamaha xjr1300 2007-2014, we recommend following these professional tips to ensure a smooth installation and extended service life:
- Allow the engine to cool completely before removing any exhaust components. The OEM downpipes and headers retain considerable heat for an extended period after riding.
- Apply high-quality copper grease to all threads and slip joints before assembly. This prevents seizing and makes future removal significantly easier.
- Check all joints thoroughly for leaks after your first short test ride. A brief warm-up run followed by a careful visual and audible inspection will confirm everything is seated correctly.
- Retorque all fasteners after the first 50 miles of riding. Exhaust components naturally settle as they heat and cool through initial use cycles, so a quick once-over with your spanners is always worthwhile.
- Use heat-resistant exhaust paste on slip joints if you require an especially tight seal, particularly beneficial for wet or cold-weather riding conditions.
These straightforward steps will ensure your exhaust system performs optimally from day one and continues to deliver outstanding results for many years to come.
Why Choose Max Torque Cans for Your Yamaha XJR1300 2007-2014?
At Max Torque Cans, we’re not a faceless warehouse operation shipping generic parts. We’re genuine motorcycle enthusiasts ourselves, and every exhaust we sell has been developed with authentic passion for the machines they’re designed to fit. We understand precisely what makes the XJR1300 special — the muscular inline-four engine, the torque-rich power delivery across the rev range, the classic naked bike proportions — and we’ve designed our exhaust system to complement and enhance all of these characteristics.
Our stainless steel construction ensures outstanding longevity and value for money. Stainless 304 is recognised as the benchmark material for high-quality motorcycle exhausts because it combines excellent heat resistance with superior corrosion resistance, meaning your investment will still be looking sharp and performing brilliantly long after cheaper alternatives have started to corrode and rattle. When you fit a Max Torque Cans exhaust to your motorcycle, you’re making an upgrade that genuinely adds lasting value to your bike.
