At MTC Exhausts — short for Max Torque Cans — we’ve been manufacturing bespoke motorcycle exhausts since 2001, and every single one leaves our Burscough workshop having been crafted with care, precision, and a genuine passion for motorcycles. We don’t cut corners, we don’t import generic parts, and we don’t compromise on materials. What you get is a proper, British-made performance exhaust that’s been built to fit your Kawasaki Z650 RS perfectly.

What Makes the Kawasaki Z650 RS Stainless De-Cat System & Rear Silencer Stand Out?

The kawasaki z650 rs stainless de-cat system & rear silencer is constructed using premium Grade T304 stainless steel throughout, ensuring exceptional resistance to heat, corrosion, and the general punishment that comes with year-round riding in the UK. This isn’t off-the-shelf metalwork — every join is sealed using stainless gas-tight rivets, and the entire build is handled by experienced craftspeople who know exactly what a motorcycle exhaust needs to perform at its best.

Removing the catalytic converter from your Z650 RS’s exhaust flow makes a genuine, measurable difference. De-catting allows gases to exit the engine more freely, reducing back pressure and giving the motor more room to breathe. The result is improved throttle response, a more engaging power delivery, and that raw, mechanical sound that the Z650 RS’s parallel twin is more than capable of producing when it’s not being strangled by factory restrictions. The kawasaki z650 rs stainless de-cat system & rear silencer genuinely unlocks the character of the engine in a way that no bolt-on slip-on can ever fully replicate.

Installation Notes for the Kawasaki Z650 RS Stainless De-Cat System & Rear Silencer

Fitting the kawasaki z650 rs stainless de-cat system & rear silencer is a straightforward job for anyone with basic mechanical knowledge and the right tools. Here are a few points worth bearing in mind before you get started:

  • Allow the engine to cool completely before beginning removal of the standard exhaust — this is particularly important if the bike has been ridden recently.
  • Apply a small amount of copper-based anti-seize compound to all threaded fasteners to make future removal easier and to prevent corrosion locking.
  • Once fitted, we recommend a short heat-cycling process — ride the bike gently for 10–15 minutes, allow it to cool, then check all clamps and connections for tightness before heading out properly.
  • Please be aware that removing the catalytic converter will affect emissions compliance. This performance exhaust is intended for closed-road or track use in applications where emissions regulations apply, and it is the owner’s responsibility to ensure legal compliance in their jurisdiction.
  • Fitting an aftermarket de-cat performance exhaust may require a fuelling remap for optimum results — we’d always recommend consulting a qualified tuner.
