What’s Included with the BMW S1000RR 2015-2016 Exhaust Kit

Every bmw s1000rr 2015-2016 exhaust kit from Max Torque Cans comes fully equipped with everything you need for a straightforward fitting. There’s no need to source additional components or hunt around for compatible hardware — it’s all here, ready to go.

  • 1 x Stainless 304 CNC Mandrel Bent Link Pipe — precision-formed for optimal flow and an exact OEM fit
  • 1 x Stainless Exhaust Strap — robust and corrosion-resistant, built to handle sustained heat and vibration
  • 1 x Exhaust Strap Rubber — provides a secure, vibration-dampening mount to protect your can and frame

The link pipe is manufactured from premium 304 grade stainless steel, which offers exceptional resistance to heat and corrosion — critical for a component that sits close to the engine and takes the full force of exhaust gases. The CNC mandrel bending process ensures a smooth, consistent bore throughout the pipe, which means no restrictions to gas flow and a more efficient scavenge effect from your engine.

Fitment Guide for the BMW S1000RR 2015-2016

This exhaust is designed to fit directly onto the standard OEM downpipes of the bmw s1000rr 2015-2016. There is no need to modify or replace your existing headers — the link pipe slots straight into place, making this a genuinely accessible upgrade for home mechanics and professional fitters alike.

The fitment process for the bmw s1000rr 2015-2016 is clean and logical, following a straightforward remove-and-replace process. You’ll remove the original silencer and mid-pipe, slide the new link pipe into the OEM downpipe collector, secure it with the included stainless strap and rubber mount, and attach your chosen Max Torque can. The result is a tidy, professional installation that looks like it came straight from the factory — only louder and lighter.

As with any exhaust fitting, we recommend allowing the bike to cool completely before beginning work. Use quality exhaust paste on any slip joints to ensure a gas-tight seal, and torque all fixings to the manufacturer’s specification. If in doubt, have the fitting carried out by a qualified motorcycle technician.

Why the BMW S1000RR 2015-2016 Deserves a Quality Exhaust Upgrade

The BMW S1000RR is one of the most capable litre-class superbikes ever produced. The 2015-2016 model year brought refined electronics, improved suspension, and a sophisticated engine management system. But like most modern motorcycles sold road-legal, the stock silencer is a compromise — designed to meet noise and emissions regulations rather than to maximise performance and sound quality.

Fitting a Max Torque can to your bmw s1000rr 2015-2016 transforms the character of the bike. The note becomes more purposeful and raw, with a satisfying bark on acceleration and a crisp, clean overrun. Alongside the acoustic improvement, you’ll shed meaningful weight from the rear of the bike, which has a noticeable effect on handling and agility — particularly during direction changes and corner entry.

The bmw s1000rr 2015-2016 already makes around 199bhp in standard form. With improved exhaust flow courtesy of the mandrel-bent link pipe, you’re giving those horses a cleaner, freer path out of the engine. The result is a more responsive throttle and a more connected, visceral riding experience.

BMW S1000RR 2015-2016 — Exhaust Options and Can Compatibility

All of our cans are selected and tested for compatibility with the bmw s1000rr 2015-2016 fitment, so you can shop with confidence knowing that what you see is what you’ll get — a quality product that fits first time, every time.

Will this exhaust fit both the 2015 and 2016 BMW S1000RR?

Yes. This kit is specifically designed and tested for the bmw s1000rr 2015-2016 model years. Both years share the same OEM downpipe configuration, meaning the link pipe will fit directly without any modification.

Do I need a remap after fitting?

A slip-on can replacement on the bmw s1000rr 2015-2016 typically does not require a full remap to run safely. Is this exhaust road legal?

This kit is sold as a performance part and is intended for off-road or track use unless paired with an EC-approved silencer. Please check the noise and emissions compliance of your chosen can before using the bmw s1000rr 2015-2016 on public roads. It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure their motorcycle meets all relevant legal requirements.

Road Legal Exhausts: Our road legal exhausts will have the BSAU stamped markings and be crafted with non-removable baffles, aligning seamlessly with the standards set by ACEM (European Association of Motorcycle Manufacturers). These baffles are an integral part of our design to ensure that your motorcycle exhaust complies with road regulations, providing you with a legal and enjoyable riding experience.
