The bmw f800gt 2013-2020 exhaust from Max Torque Cans is purpose-built for riders who demand genuine performance gains and a commanding sound from their touring machine. If you own a BMW F800GT built between 2013 and 2020, you already know this bike is a capable, refined tourer — and with the right performance can fitted, it becomes something truly special. At Max Torque Cans, we’ve developed this exhaust with precision engineering and real-world fitment in mind, so you spend less time in the garage and more time on the road where you belong.
Why Choose a Max Torque Cans Performance Exhaust for the BMW F800GT 2013-2020?
The standard OEM exhaust on the BMW F800GT 2013-2020 does its job well enough, but it’s designed by accountants as much as engineers — weight, noise regulations, and cost all compromise what the bike is truly capable of. Our performance can strips away that compromise and gives your F800GT a voice that matches its character. You’ll notice an improvement in throttle response, a freer-breathing mid-range, and a deep, purposeful exhaust note that turns heads without becoming anti-social on a long motorway run.
Every exhaust we produce at Max Torque Cans is made with serious craftsmanship. We’re not a faceless warehouse operation — we’re motorcycle enthusiasts who understand what riders actually want. The bmw f800gt 2013-2020 exhaust is no exception. It’s been developed, tested, and refined to deliver a fitment that’s clean, professional, and built to last.
What’s Included with the BMW F800GT 2013-2020 Exhaust Kit?
When your order arrives, you’ll find everything you need to get the job done properly. The kit for the bmw f800gt 2013-2020 includes:
- 1 x Stainless 304 CNC Mandrel Bent Link Pipe — precision-formed for an exact, rattle-free fit to your OEM downpipes
- 1 x Stainless Exhaust Strap — corrosion-resistant and built to handle the heat and vibration of everyday riding
- 1 x Exhaust Strap Rubber — cushions the silencer mounting point and protects against vibration transfer
The link pipe is the heart of the fitment. Manufactured from high-grade 304 stainless steel and CNC mandrel bent, it maintains a consistent internal bore throughout every curve — meaning exhaust gases flow smoothly and efficiently without the restriction you’d get from a crush-bent pipe. The result is a cleaner, more responsive power delivery across the rev range on your bmw f800gt 2013-2020.
Fitment Notes for the BMW F800GT 2013-2020
This exhaust is designed to bolt straight onto the standard OEM downpipes of the bmw f800gt 2013-2020 without any modification. There’s no cutting, welding, or specialist tools required — if you’re comfortable with basic spanner work, this is a straightforward weekend job. One important note: please retain and reuse your OEM springs when refitting. The standard BMW springs are perfectly suited for this application, and using them ensures a secure, leak-free connection between the link pipe and the downpipes.
We always recommend fitting the exhaust with the bike on a centre stand or paddock stand for safety and ease of access. Allow the engine to cool fully before starting work, and consider using a little copper grease on the downpipe connections to make future removal straightforward. The stainless exhaust strap should be tightened firmly but not over-torqued — it’s designed to clamp with even pressure to avoid stress points on the can mounting.
Once fitted, give the silencer a short warm-up run to allow any manufacturing residue to burn off cleanly. You may notice a little light smoke on the first run — this is completely normal and will clear within a few minutes. After that, your bmw f800gt 2013-2020 is ready to be ridden as hard as you like.

We know that buying an exhaust online is a big decision, and we want you to feel completely confident before you order. That’s why we’ve put together a gallery of real-world fitment photos on Flickr so you can see exactly how the can looks on the bike. We’ve also produced a YouTube video walkthrough that covers the full installation process — from unboxing right through to the finished result — so you can see what’s involved before you pick up a spanner.
Max Torque Cans is also proud to sponsor world-class stunt rider Mattie Griffin. Mattie’s preferred stunt machine is the BMW F800R 2009-2019, a bike that shares its DNA with the F800GT platform — and if our exhausts are good enough to withstand the punishment of professional stunt riding, they’re more than good enough for the road. You can check out Mattie’s work at his stunt and wheelie school website for a glimpse of what BMW’s parallel-twin platform is truly capable of in the right hands.

The F800R was first introduced when Streetbike freestyle World Champion, Chris Pfeiffer started using the custom bike for his tricks. Pfeiffer first started using a BMW F800S in January 2006, and eventually transformed the S into an R model in order to lighten the weight of the bike and make it more suitable for motorcycle stunt riding.
