What’s Included with the Kawasaki ZX300 2012 – 2020 Exhaust Package
When you order this exhaust kit for the Kawasaki ZX300 2012 – 2020, you receive everything you need to complete a clean, professional-looking installation without any additional purchases. Every component has been selected for durability, fitment accuracy, and long-term performance. Here’s exactly what comes in the box:
- 1 x Stainless 304 CNC Mandrel Bent Link Pipe — crafted from high-quality 304-grade stainless steel, this link pipe is CNC mandrel bent to ensure a smooth, unrestricted flow of exhaust gases. Mandrel bending maintains the full internal diameter of the pipe throughout every curve, which means no pinch points, no turbulence, and no unnecessary back pressure choking your engine’s performance.
- 1 x Stainless Exhaust Strap — a sturdy, corrosion-resistant strap that securely holds your silencer in place, even under the vibration and heat cycles of everyday riding.
- 1 x Exhaust Strap Rubber — a protective rubber buffer that sits between the strap and your can, absorbing vibration and preventing wear or rattling over time.
This complete kit means you’re not hunting around for additional hardware or making compromises. Everything arrives ready to fit.
Fitment Details for the Kawasaki ZX300 2012 – 2020
The link pipe included in this kit has been designed to mate directly with the standard OEM downpipes on the Kawasaki ZX300 2012 – 2020. There is no cutting, welding, or fabrication required. This is a genuine bolt-on fitment that takes the guesswork out of upgrading your exhaust. The precision engineering means you get a secure, leak-free connection first time, every time.
This kit is compatible with the full model range of the Kawasaki ZX300 manufactured between 2012 and 2020. If you’re unsure whether your specific year falls within this window, feel free to get in touch with us directly and we’ll confirm compatibility before you order. We’d rather take five minutes to check than have you receive the wrong part.
It’s worth noting that this kit is designed to work with your chosen silencer or performance can. If you’re looking to complete your setup with a matching high-quality silencer, browse the rest of our Kawasaki range for options that complement this link pipe perfectly.
Installation Notes for the Kawasaki ZX300 2012 – 2020
Installing this exhaust package on your Kawasaki ZX300 2012 – 2020 is a straightforward job for anyone with basic mechanical knowledge and a standard set of tools. Here’s a general overview of the fitting process to give you an idea of what’s involved:
- Allow the engine to cool completely before beginning any work. Exhaust components retain heat for a long time, and attempting to work on a warm or hot exhaust is both dangerous and makes the job harder.
- Remove the OEM exhaust by unbolting it from the downpipes and removing the mounting hardware. Keep all original bolts safe in case they are needed during the new installation.
- Offer up the new link pipe to the OEM downpipes and check for alignment before fully tightening any fasteners. A dry-fit first ensures you achieve a clean, flush connection without stressing any joints.
- Attach your silencer or can to the link pipe, fitting the stainless exhaust strap and rubber buffer as directed to secure the unit firmly to the bike’s frame or subframe bracket.
- Tighten all fixings progressively, checking alignment as you go. Once everything is secure, run the engine and check for any leaks or unusual sounds before heading out on the road.
As always, if you’re not confident performing this work yourself, we recommend having a trusted motorcycle mechanic carry out the installation. A professional fit ensures your new exhaust performs exactly as intended from day one.
Why Choose Max Torque Cans for Your Kawasaki ZX300 2012 – 2020 Exhaust Upgrade
At Max Torque Cans, we’re not a faceless warehouse shifting generic parts. We’re motorcycle enthusiasts who understand what riders actually want from a performance exhaust upgrade. Every product we offer has been developed with real-world fitment and real-world riding in mind. The Kawasaki ZX300 2012 – 2020 exhaust kit reflects this ethos — quality materials, precision manufacture, and a fit that makes you wonder why you didn’t do it sooner.
Our use of 304-grade stainless steel throughout this kit is no accident. This material offers exceptional resistance to the corrosion and discolouration that plagues lesser exhausts, particularly in the wet British climate. You’ll be able to enjoy a clean, polished look for years with minimal maintenance, even if your commute involves plenty of winter riding in rain and road salt.
We’re also proud of our CNC mandrel bending process. Unlike cheaper alternatives that use crush bending — which deforms the pipe internally and restricts gas flow — mandrel bending preserves the full bore of the pipe throughout every curve. The result is noticeably improved gas scavenging, better throttle response, and a more satisfying exhaust note from your Kawasaki ZX300.
