The ktm 1190 adventurer 2013- exhaust from Max Torque Cans is a premium, hand-crafted performance can designed to transform the sound, style, and overall riding experience of one of KTM’s most celebrated adventure bikes. Whether you’re hammering across mountain passes, carving through country lanes, or tackling challenging off-road terrain, this exhaust is built to match the ambition of the machine it’s fitted to — and the rider behind the bars.
Every unit that leaves our UK workshop has been meticulously crafted from high-grade materials, ensuring you receive a performance exhaust that’s built for the long haul.
At Max Torque Cans, we’ve been producing bespoke motorcycle exhausts for years, and we understand that riders of the 1190 Adventure demand quality, reliability, and authentic performance gains. This isn’t an off-the-shelf, one-size-fits-all solution. It’s a purposefully engineered performance exhaust built specifically for the ktm 1190 adventurer 2013-, meaning you get a fitment that’s precise, rattle-free, and designed to withstand the rigours of serious adventure riding.
From the Scottish Highlands to the Alps and beyond, this exhaust is ready for whatever you throw at it.
What’s Included with Your KTM 1190 Adventurer 2013- Exhaust Kit
When you order this performance can for your ktm 1190 adventurer 2013-, you’ll receive everything you need to complete the fitment straight out of the box. There’s no hunting around for additional hardware or making do with ill-fitting components. Here’s exactly what comes in the kit:
- 1 x Stainless T304 Link Pipe — precision-formed to mate directly with your standard OEM downpipes, ensuring a clean, rattle-free connection that’s engineered for longevity
- 1 x Stainless Exhaust Strap — robust and corrosion-resistant, keeping your can securely mounted through every kind of terrain, from tarmac to gravel tracks
- 1 x Exhaust Strap Rubber — absorbs vibration and prevents metal-on-metal contact, protecting both the can and your bike’s bodywork while enhancing rider comfort
The T304 stainless steel used throughout this kit is the same grade you’ll find in high-end fabrication, marine applications, and professional motorsport. It resists corrosion brilliantly, handles extreme heat cycles without distorting or discolouring, and keeps its finish looking sharp even after thousands of miles in all-weather conditions. For an adventure bike that sees genuine all-weather, all-terrain use, that level of material quality genuinely matters.
According to KTM’s official specifications, the 1190 Adventure is built to endure the toughest conditions, and your exhaust should be held to the same standard.
Fitment Details for the KTM 1190 Adventurer 2013- Performance Can
One of the most important things to get right with any aftermarket exhaust is the fitment, and this is where the Max Torque Cans ktm 1190 adventurer 2013- unit really excels. The link pipe is designed to bolt directly onto the standard OEM downpipes without any modification to your bike’s existing pipework.
That means no cutting, no welding, and no specialist tools required beyond a basic socket set and some patience. We’ve developed this exhaust with a real-world 1190 Adventure on the bench to ensure the clearances are spot on and the finished look is clean and purposeful.
The can sits in exactly the right position, away from luggage, away from the rider’s leg, and properly supported by the included strap and rubber mount. This attention to detail means you won’t encounter any fouling issues with panniers, exhaust heat near your boot, or annoying rattles on rough terrain.
If you’re fitting this yourself at home, we’d recommend having the bike on a paddock stand and allowing the engine to be completely cool before you start. Loosen the OEM can and downpipe connection, slide the new link pipe into position, fit the strap around the silencer mount point on the frame, and tighten everything progressively.
Do a final check once you’ve run the engine up to temperature, as everything will have expanded slightly and you may want to snug up a fastener or two.
Why the KTM 1190 Adventurer 2013- Deserves This Upgrade
Let’s be honest — the stock can on the ktm 1190 adventurer 2013- is a compromise. It’s engineered to meet noise regulations, reduce liability, and keep production costs within budget. It does its job, but it doesn’t do your bike justice. The 1190 Adventure is a 150bhp twin-cylinder machine with a characterful V-twin soundtrack that deserves to be heard.
Fitting a Max Torque Cans performance exhaust lets that character breathe, delivering a deeper, more purposeful exhaust note without crossing into antisocial territory. You’ll enjoy a rich, bassy tone on the overrun and a crisp bark on acceleration that makes every ride more engaging.
Beyond the sound, a lighter aftermarket silencer reduces unsprung and overall weight, which on an adventure bike of this size can make a noticeable difference to handling — particularly at lower speeds, during tight manoeuvres, and on technical off-road terrain. The 1190 Adventure is already a surprisingly agile machine considering its size and capability; removing weight from the back end only adds to that feeling of nimbleness and control.
Whether you’re navigating a tight hairpin or picking your way through a rocky trail, every kilogram saved counts.

Road Legal Exhausts: Our road legal exhausts will have the BSAU stamped markings and be crafted with non-removable baffles, aligning seamlessly with the standards set by ACEM (European Association of Motorcycle Manufacturers). These baffles are an integral part of our design to ensure that your motorcycle exhaust complies with road regulations, providing you with a legal and enjoyable riding experience.

Clearly marked with type approval markings “Not for Road Use” etched into the side, these exhausts are specifically designed for racing applications.
