Price range: £ 137.60 through £ 328.52

The suzuki rv 125 – 200 van van 2003-2017 is one of the most characterful and recognisable retro-adventure bikes ever to roll out of Japan, and now you can give it the exhaust note it truly deserves. At Max Torque Cans, we have engineered a premium performance exhaust specifically designed to complement this iconic machine, delivering improved sound, outstanding build quality, and a straightforward bolt-on installation that any competent home mechanic can tackle with confidence. Whether you ride the 125cc or the 200cc variant, this is the upgrade your VAN VAN has been waiting for.

Why Upgrade the Exhaust on Your Suzuki RV 125 – 200 VAN VAN 2003-2017?

The standard OEM silencer on the suzuki rv 125 – 200 van van 2003-2017 does a perfectly acceptable job when the bike rolls off the production line, but after years of use it can become tired, corroded, and acoustically uninspiring. A quality aftermarket exhaust breathes new life into the whole riding experience. You get a deeper, more satisfying exhaust note that suits the retro character of the VAN VAN perfectly, and you benefit from a fresh, high-quality component that is built to last far longer than a rusting original.

Beyond the obvious sonic improvements, upgrading to a well-made stainless performance exhaust also saves weight compared to an ageing OEM unit. On a lightweight scrambler-style bike like the VAN VAN, every kilogram counts. The result is a machine that feels more responsive, sounds brilliant, and looks considerably sharper on the road or trail.

What Is Included with the Suzuki RV 125 – 200 VAN VAN 2003-2017 Exhaust Kit?

Max Torque Cans pride themselves on supplying complete, ready-to-fit kits. When you order this exhaust for the suzuki rv 125 – 200 van van 2003-2017, your package will include everything listed below, so there are no unexpected trips to the hardware shop and no hidden additional costs.

  • 1 x Stainless 304 CNC Mandrel Bent Link Pipe – Precision-formed from high-grade 304 stainless steel, this link pipe maintains a consistent bore throughout every bend, ensuring unrestricted gas flow and long-term corrosion resistance even in the harshest British weather.
  • 1 x Stainless Exhaust Strap – A robust stainless mounting strap that provides a secure, rattle-free connection between your new can and the bike’s frame, keeping everything solid mile after mile.
  • 1 x Exhaust Strap Rubber – A purpose-made rubber buffer that sits between the mounting strap and the silencer body, absorbing vibration and protecting the finish of your new exhaust from unnecessary wear.

Every component in this kit is manufactured to exacting standards right here in the UK. Max Torque Cans does not compromise on materials, and that commitment to quality is immediately evident when you hold the finished product in your hands.

Fitment Details for the Suzuki RV 125 – 200 VAN VAN 2003-2017

This performance exhaust is engineered to fit directly onto the standard OEM downpipes of the suzuki rv 125 – 200 van van 2003-2017. There is no requirement to modify the original headers, and no additional adaptors or specialist tools are needed beyond a basic socket set and spanner. The CNC mandrel bent link pipe has been designed with precise dimensional accuracy to mirror the geometry of the factory fitment, meaning the can sits exactly where it should — hugging the frame cleanly and sitting at the correct angle.

The kit is compatible with the full production run of the VAN VAN in this generation, covering all models built between 2003 and 2017. Whether you have an early 125cc model or one of the later 200cc machines, the fitment is identical and the installation process is the same throughout.

Installation Notes – Getting the Best from Your Suzuki RV 125 – 200 VAN VAN 2003-2017 Exhaust

Installing this exhaust on your suzuki rv 125 – 200 van van 2003-2017 is a satisfying weekend job that most riders can complete in under an hour. Follow these practical tips to make sure you get the best possible result from your new performance exhaust.

  • Allow the engine to cool completely before you begin work. Even a briefly used engine retains significant heat in the downpipes and original silencer, so give the bike at least an hour to cool down after its last ride.
  • Remove the OEM silencer carefully. Undo the clamp or retaining bolts at the downpipe junction first, then release the mounting bracket at the rear. It is common for OEM fixings to be corroded on older machines, so applying penetrating oil the night before is a good habit.
  • Fit the exhaust strap rubber first, slipping it into position on the mounting strap before you attempt to fit the can to the bike. It is far easier to assemble these components off the bike.
  • Slide the link pipe onto the OEM downpipe and loosely tighten the connection. Do not fully torque anything until all components are in place and you are satisfied with the alignment.
  • Check clearances around the heat shield and frame. On the VAN VAN, the exhaust routing runs close to several frame members, so take a moment to confirm the can is not fouling anything before you take it out for the first ride.
  • Run the bike gently for the first 20–30 minutes to allow any assembly lubricant or fingerprints on the stainless to burn off. During this initial heat cycle, avoid high revs. After cooling, re-check all fastenings and tighten to the recommended torque.

If you would like to see the finished installation and hear exactly how this exhaust sounds on the suzuki rv 125 – 200 van van 2003-2017, Max Torque Cans have produced a series of video walkthroughs available on their YouTube channel. Watching these before you begin is an excellent way to familiarise yourself with the process and set your expectations for the end result.
