The triumph 600 daytona 2002-2004 is one of the most exciting inline-four sportsbikes ever to roll out of Hinckley, and if you want to make the very most of it, fitting a quality performance exhaust is one of the smartest upgrades you can make. Here at Max Torque Cans, we have developed a purpose-built silencer that slots straight onto your Daytona’s standard OEM downpipes, giving you a cleaner look, a meaner sound, and the satisfaction of knowing your bike is wearing something genuinely made for it. Whether you are heading out for a Sunday blast through the Peak District or simply want to turn heads in the car park, this exhaust delivers on every level.
Why Choose This Performance Exhaust for Your triumph 600 daytona 2002-2004?
Not all aftermarket cans are created equal. A great many bolt-on exhausts on the market are generic fitments dressed up with clever marketing. What we offer for the triumph 600 daytona 2002-2004 is a silencer that has been built with this specific model in mind. From the mounting points to the exit angle, every detail has been considered to ensure a tidy, secure, and long-lasting installation. The result is an exhaust that looks like it belongs on the bike — because it genuinely does.
The can itself is constructed to a high standard using quality materials that stand up to the demands of daily riding as well as the occasional hard session on your favourite B-road. It offers a deep, purposeful exhaust note that suits the character of the Daytona perfectly — not so loud as to attract unwanted attention from the constabulary, but loud enough to let everyone know you mean business.
Key Features of the triumph 600 daytona 2002-2004 Exhaust
- 3-bolt fitting — provides a solid, rattle-free connection to the standard OEM downpipes

Everything you need for a straightforward installation is included in the package. There is no need to source additional fittings or make a separate trip to a fasteners supplier — simply unbox, fit, and ride.
Fitting the Exhaust to Your triumph 600 daytona 2002-2004
One of the biggest selling points of this exhaust for the triumph 600 daytona 2002-2004 is how straightforward the installation process is. It is designed to fit directly onto the standard OEM downpipes without any cutting, welding, or specialist fabrication work. If you are comfortable with basic mechanical tasks, this is very much a home-garage job. Even if you prefer to leave it to a professional, a local mechanic will have it on in no time at all — which keeps labour costs down.
The 3-bolt fitting ensures a tight, secure connection that will not work loose over time. The included stainless exhaust strap and rubber absorber work together to mount the rear of the can firmly against the chassis, preventing vibration and movement. Stainless steel is the right choice for this component — it resists the corrosion that comes with exposure to road salt, rain, and the general grime of British roads.
Before fitting, we always recommend a quick check that your OEM downpipes are in good condition and free from cracks or corrosion. A fresh crush washer or seal at the header joint is also a wise precaution. Once the can is mounted, torque all fixings to the manufacturer’s specification and take the bike for a gentle warm-up run to let everything settle in and seat properly.
For those who want to see the fitting process in action before they commit, we have put together a helpful YouTube video demonstrating the installation on the triumph 600 daytona 2002-2004. Will this exhaust fit my Triumph 600 Daytona if it was registered in 2003?
Yes, absolutely. This exhaust covers the full production run of the triumph 600 daytona 2002-2004, so whether your bike is a 2002, 2003, or 2004 model, you are covered. The fitment is consistent across all three model years.
Do I need a remap or any fuelling changes after fitting this exhaust?
For most riders, a remap is not strictly necessary when fitting a slip-on can of this type, as you are retaining the standard OEM downpipes and headers. However, if you are also running an aftermarket air filter or other performance modifications, a remap may help you extract the full benefit of the changes. We recommend consulting with a Triumph specialist or a reputable dyno tuner if you are unsure.
Is this exhaust road legal?
This is a performance aftermarket exhaust and is sold as a road-use product. As with any aftermarket silencer, it is your responsibility as the rider and registered keeper to ensure your motorcycle meets the relevant noise and emissions regulations for use on public roads in the UK. If you are fitting this to a track-day bike, there are no such concerns.
