Whether you’re a weekend blaster, a classic bike enthusiast, or a track day regular, this exhaust is engineered to complement your machine perfectly.
Why Choose Our Exhaust for the Ducati 900SS 1988 – 2007?
When we designed the exhaust for the ducati 900ss 1988 – 2007, we had one goal in mind: create something that fits properly, sounds fantastic, and lasts for years. Too many aftermarket exhausts on the market are made from inferior materials, require excessive modification, or simply don’t fit as described. Our exhaust avoids all of those pitfalls. Built here in the UK by people who are passionate about motorcycles, this is a product that has been developed with real-world fitment and performance in mind.
The ducati 900ss 1988 – 2007 has a loyal and enthusiastic following, and owners of this bike tend to be knowledgeable, discerning riders who won’t settle for second best. That’s why we’ve made sure every component in this kit meets a high standard of quality, from the grade of stainless steel used through to the precision of the bends in the link pipes.
What’s Included in the Ducati 900SS 1988 – 2007 Exhaust Kit
This kit has been put together to give you everything you need for a complete and tidy installation. There are no hidden extras to purchase, and no head-scratching over missing components. Here’s exactly what you’ll receive when you order the exhaust for your ducati 900ss 1988 – 2007:
- 2 x Stainless 304 CNC Mandrel Bent Link Pipes — precision-formed from high-grade 304 stainless steel for excellent corrosion resistance and longevity
- 2 x Stainless Exhaust Straps — robust and built to withstand the heat and vibration that comes with daily riding
- 2 x Exhaust Strap Rubbers — these provide the necessary cushioning and reduce vibration transfer, helping to protect both the silencer and your bike’s frame
The entire kit is designed to bolt straight onto the standard OEM downpipes of the ducati 900ss 1988 – 2007, meaning you won’t need to modify your existing headers or invest in additional components. It’s a clean, straightforward upgrade that respects the original engineering of the machine.
CNC Mandrel Bent Link Pipes — Built for the Ducati 900SS 1988 – 2007
One of the standout features of this kit is the quality of the link pipes. CNC mandrel bending is a precision process that ensures the internal diameter of the pipe remains consistent throughout each bend. This matters because any restriction or collapse in the pipe will reduce exhaust gas flow, which in turn affects performance. With these pipes, gas flows freely and efficiently, helping your ducati 900ss 1988 – 2007 breathe as well as it possibly can.
The 304 stainless steel used in these pipes offers excellent resistance to the high temperatures generated by the Ducati’s L-twin engine, as well as to the wet and salty conditions that UK roads are notorious for. You won’t be replacing these pipes every couple of seasons — they’re built to last.
Fitment Notes for the Ducati 900SS 1988 – 2007
Fitment is straightforward, and most riders with basic mechanical ability will be able to complete the installation themselves. The exhaust for the ducati 900ss 1988 – 2007 is designed to mate directly with the standard OEM downpipes, so as long as your downpipes are in good condition, you should have no issues at all. Here are a few practical tips to make the job go smoothly:
- Allow the engine to cool fully before beginning any exhaust work — this is both a safety precaution and makes handling components far easier
- Clean the ends of the OEM downpipes before fitting the new link pipes to ensure a proper seal
- Use new exhaust gaskets if your existing ones are worn or damaged — this will prevent any unwanted leaks
- Torque all fixings to the manufacturer’s recommended settings and re-check them after the first heat cycle
- The stainless exhaust straps and strap rubbers should be fitted securely but not overtightened — allow a small amount of movement to account for heat expansion
