The honda cbr600rr 2007-2016 represents one of the most celebrated chapters in supersport motorcycle history, and at Max Torque Cans, we believe a machine of this calibre deserves an exhaust system that truly does it justice. Our precision-engineered performance exhaust has been specifically designed to bolt directly onto your CBR600RR, delivering that aggressive, race-inspired tone, cleaner lines, and the kind of precision fitment that transforms installation from a frustrating chore into a genuinely satisfying Sunday morning project.

Whether you’re chasing lap times at your local track day, carving through Welsh mountain passes, or simply want your Honda to sound as good as it looks, this exhaust delivers on every front. Built from high-grade stainless steel with real-world UK riding conditions in mind, this is the upgrade your supersport has been crying out for.

What’s Included With Your Honda CBR600RR 2007-2016 Performance Exhaust

When your order arrives at your door, you’ll find a comprehensive package containing everything required to transform your bike’s exhaust system without the need to source additional components or hunt through aftermarket catalogues. The honda cbr600rr 2007-2016 exhaust kit includes:

  • High-level link pipe fitting — delivering that sleek, race-inspired high-mount aesthetic that completely transforms the rear profile of your CBR
  • 2 x Stainless 304 CNC Mandrel Bent Link Pipes — precision-engineered for optimal gas flow and flawless mating with your OEM downpipes
  • 1 x Stainless Steel Exhaust Strap — robust, corrosion-resistant mounting hardware designed for long-term reliability
  • 1 x Exhaust Strap Rubber — essential vibration damping that protects your bodywork and eliminates unwanted rattles

Every component has been selected to work in harmony with the others. The stainless 304 grade material offers genuine corrosion resistance—absolutely essential for British riding conditions where rain, road salt, and persistent damp are simply part of everyday motorcycling rather than occasional inconveniences.

Fitment and Compatibility for the Honda CBR600RR 2007-2016

This exhaust system is engineered to fit directly to the standard OEM downpipes on your honda cbr600rr 2007-2016, covering the entire production run of this generation. There’s no need for modifications, fabrication work, or specialist tooling. If you’re comfortable with basic hand tools and have a couple of hours available, you’ll have this fitted on your driveway without drama.

The CNC mandrel-bent link pipes represent the real engineering highlight when it comes to fitment quality. Unlike cheaper crush-bent alternatives—which compromise internal diameter consistency and often result in frustrating gaps at mating surfaces—mandrel bending maintains a uniform bore throughout every curve and angle. This translates to a tighter, more precise seal against the OEM downpipes, improved gas scavenging efficiency, and ultimately better performance characteristics once you’re out on the road.

The high-level configuration positions the silencer up and away from potential kerb strikes, speed bump contact, and road debris—particularly useful if you use your CBR for commuting as well as spirited weekend rides. It also dramatically cleans up the right-hand side of the motorcycle, giving it that stripped-back, purposeful appearance that proper supersport machines should have.

Installation Notes for Your Honda CBR600RR 2007-2016 Exhaust System

Installation is refreshingly straightforward, but these practical tips will help ensure a smooth, trouble-free fitting process:

  • Always allow the engine to cool completely before beginning work. Hot exhaust components can cause serious burns and make the job unnecessarily uncomfortable
  • Apply copper grease liberally to all slip joints to prevent future seizing—particularly important in our climate where corrosion can take hold quickly
  • Check all fixings are torqued to the correct specifications before your first ride. A brief shake-down run at modest speed, followed by a re-check of all fasteners once cooled, is always sensible practice
  • Expect some initial smoke and odour as manufacturing oils and residues burn off during the first heat cycle. This is completely normal and will clear within the first few miles
  • Avoid using high-pressure jet washing directly onto the slip joints. A gentle rinse is perfectly fine; sustained high pressure can force water past seals and into the fitting

The stainless exhaust strap and rubber mount work together to reduce vibration transmission back into the chassis and bodywork. Ensure the rubber mounting is seated correctly before final tightening to achieve the full benefit of this damping effect and prevent potential rattles or loose fittings down the line.

Why Choose Max Torque Cans for Your Honda CBR600RR 2007-2016 Upgrade

At Max Torque Cans, we’re not some faceless warehouse operation churning out generic parts for every bike under the sun. We’re a UK-based team with genuine passion for motorcycles, and every product we sell is something we’d be happy to bolt onto our own machines. The honda cbr600rr 2007-2016 exhaust has been developed with real-world use firmly in mind—not just catalogue photography and marketing fluff.

Our customers have successfully fitted these systems across the full 2007–2016 model range, and feedback has been consistently positive regarding the quality of the stainless steel construction, the ease of fitment, and the significant sound improvement over the somewhat muted factory silencer. The CBR600RR platform is well-known for being a little subdued from the factory—particularly in later fuel-injected iterations—and upgrading to a quality aftermarket can genuinely transforms the character of the bike, giving it a more purposeful, engaging note that matches its sporting pedigree.

For those exploring exhaust options across different Honda models, you might also be interested in our Honda XRV750 Africa Twin 90′ – 03′ exhaust, which offers the same quality craftsmanship and attention to detail for Honda’s legendary adventure platform.

If you’d like to see and hear this exhaust in action before committing to your purchase, we’ve produced several YouTube videos demonstrating real-world fitment procedures and providing genuine sound clips. These give you an honest impression of what to expect from the finished installation on a honda cbr600rr 2007-2016, without the over-dubbed audio nonsense you’ll find elsewhere.

Performance and Sound Characteristics

Beyond the aesthetic improvements, this exhaust system delivers tangible performance benefits. The mandrel-bent construction ensures smooth, unrestricted gas flow, which can contribute to modest power gains in the mid-range—exactly where you’ll notice the difference during overtakes and spirited riding. According to Motorcycle News, quality aftermarket exhausts can reduce weight significantly compared to restrictive factory systems whilst improving throttle response.

The sound profile strikes an excellent balance—deep and purposeful without being antisocially loud or drone-inducing on motorway runs. You’ll hear your engine properly for the first time, with that distinctive inline-four howl that makes the CBR600RR such a joy to rev out through the gears.
