Our Honda X-11 exhaust package has been put together with the real-world rider in mind. No complicated fabrication work. No specialist tools required. Just a quality, well-engineered product that fits first time and transforms the look and character of your motorcycle. Read on to discover exactly what’s included, how it fits, and why riders up and down the UK are choosing Max Torque Cans for their next exhaust upgrade.

What’s Included in the Honda X-11 CB1100SF 1999-2003 Exhaust Package

Every kit is supplied complete with everything you need for a clean, straightforward installation. There’s no need to source additional components or hunt around for compatible hardware — we’ve done the thinking for you. Here’s exactly what you’ll receive with your honda x-11 cb1100sf 1999-2003 exhaust kit:

  • 2 x Stainless 304 CNC Mandrel Bent Link Pipes — these are the heart of the kit. Manufactured from high-grade 304 stainless steel and formed using CNC mandrel bending technology, these link pipes maintain a perfectly consistent bore throughout every curve and bend. This means no crushed tubing, no restricted flow, and no compromise on performance.
  • 2 x Stainless Exhaust Straps — strong, corrosion-resistant stainless steel straps that provide a secure and reliable mounting point for your silencer cans. Designed to last the lifetime of the exhaust.
  • 2 x Exhaust Strap Rubbers — vibration-dampening rubber inserts that sit between the strap and the can, reducing heat transfer and protecting your silencers from unnecessary stress and movement.

The entire package is designed to work harmoniously together. From the first test-fit to your first ride, every component has been developed with the honda x-11 cb1100sf 1999-2003 in mind. You won’t find generic, off-the-shelf parts here — this is a focused, bike-specific solution.

Fitment Guide for the Honda X-11 CB1100SF 1999-2003

Fitment could not be more straightforward. The link pipes are designed to mate directly with your existing, standard OEM downpipes, meaning there’s absolutely no need to modify or replace any part of your original header system. This is a huge advantage — you preserve the integrity of your factory headers while dramatically improving the look and sound of the rear section of the exhaust.

The honda x-11 cb1100sf 1999-2003 uses a twin-exit exhaust configuration, and our kit is built around this layout precisely. Both link pipes have been mandrel bent to follow the exact routing path of the originals, ensuring a snug, rattle-free fit that looks factory-clean while performing anything but. The stainless exhaust straps secure your chosen cans firmly in position, while the rubber inserts absorb vibration and protect the finish.

This kit is compatible with all model years covered in the honda x-11 cb1100sf 1999-2003 production run, so regardless of whether your bike is an early example or a later model, you can buy with complete confidence.

Installation Notes for Your Honda X-11 CB1100SF 1999-2003 Exhaust

Installation is well within the capability of any competent home mechanic with a basic set of hand tools. Here are a few tips to help the job go smoothly:

  • Allow the engine to cool completely before starting work. Exhaust components retain heat for a significant period after riding.
  • Remove the old link pipes and give the OEM downpipe collector outlets a thorough clean. Any built-up carbon or corrosion at the joint will affect the seal quality, so take your time here.
  • Apply a small amount of exhaust assembly paste or copper grease to the slip joints before fitting the new link pipes. This helps prevent seizing and makes future removal far easier.
  • Loosely fit all components before tightening anything down. This gives you the flexibility to adjust alignment and ensures everything sits true before you commit to final torque settings.
  • Once everything is in position and tightened, run the engine to temperature and then re-check all fasteners. Thermal expansion can cause joints to shift slightly on the first heat cycle.

Why Choose Max Torque Cans for Your Honda X-11 CB1100SF 1999-2003?

Max Torque Cans is a UK-based specialist in motorcycle exhausts and performance cans. We don’t just sell generic parts — we develop and supply bike-specific solutions that are built to a high standard and priced fairly. Our honda x-11 cb1100sf 1999-2003 exhaust kit is a perfect example of this philosophy in action.

The use of 304 stainless steel throughout is a deliberate choice. It offers outstanding resistance to the kind of corrosion that plagues cheaper mild steel alternatives — particularly important given the UK’s wet and salty road conditions. Combined with the precision of CNC mandrel bending, you’re getting a product that not only fits properly but is built to last year after year.

Our customers regularly comment on how good this setup looks on the bike. The X-11 has always been a head-turner, and a fresh set of link pipes paired with quality cans takes the visual appeal to another level entirely. Couple that with the improved exhaust note that comes from a free-flowing, well-designed link pipe, and you’ve got an upgrade that genuinely transforms the riding experience.
